Wow thats weird, i used to work for a school making $12/hour doing IT stuff too. And i also got laid off...but in 2006. Now i'm making $10/hour doing the same stuff at Staples :(

I have been stuck in a financial hole for the past 7 or 8 years, it's mayhem.
Just once I'd like to make enough to do more than get by.
Scratch that, I did for a while, but I was working TWO jobs for 16+ hours a day. I am NOT joking, 5AM - 1AM some days. That money came and went a long time ago, and now I am back to one job at < $10 an hour.
