It means the internals are similar but the visual and interface parts are different, in part. Vista seems great if you have a newish machine with 4gb of RAM and a phat video card. |

In fact, the only thing that bugs me about it so far is the defrag doesn't show you what it's doing like XP did, but that's nothing major.
