Aside from a few Rainbow songs and a little bit of the Sabbath he did, I am just not a fan of this guy. I won't even get into his lyrics, amongst the worst I have ever read. I have never seen an artist's CDs filling the used metal bin at record stores in decades as I have Ronny James Dio (except maybe Six Feet Under). There has to be a reason... He did not have a rubber dragon or a sword, sadly. However he DID have his drummer play a solo along with the star-spangled banner....that was the gayest thing I have ever seen at a live show. And I have seen Ugly Kid Joe. Needless to say, pure disappointment after having my head blown off by Motorhead with 'Killed by Death', 'Metropolis', etc. Fortunately Maiden kicked ass too, or at least they did in between Bruce's rants about Wal*Mart and everything else wrong with America. :doublehorns: |
