This place could be home to some quality local shows, but we need to make this show successful first... Read below. "This is a message I am sending out to friends of ours and people that I believe can help us with this. This coming Friday, we are playing The Crypt's Halloween party, and this is what we need your help with. Over this past year, The Crypt was managed by one man who drove the club and it's reputation into the ground with it's overpriced drinks, shitty attitude, lame no camera policy, and in the end screwing mulitple bands out of cash. But now The Crypt is being managed by Debbie Roy, better known under the name of her promoter name, Rock Boston. Since she has taken things over, she has lowered drinks and admission to non-event shows, done away with lame ass policys and knows how to treat bands. She is one of the nicest people in this local scene and I wouldn't be typing this and sending this message to so many people if it was someone else. Unfortnetly, because of what the past manager had done, The Crypt has been dug into a financial hole and is on it's last legs. As it stands right now, if this Halloween show is not successful, chances are there won't be many more if any local shows going on at the Crypt, and perhaps in the near future there won't be any Crypt at all. So I would not normally go about asking like this, but I am asking to all I send this message to, to do your best in coming to this show. You don't have to like us, you don't have to come to see us (though we would quite like that haha), just come to help make this show successful and help keep the Crypt going for local bands and just in general, it's just one night of your life and you get to see some local bands in a sweet club. Deb is also one of the last few nice promoters in this scene who doesn't discriminate to styles and gives even new comer bands a chance.
