I just watched it.... oh man...it is the best...such a star wars rip off...so patently 80's...such a dissapointing "watch bad tv series to see the rest of the story unfold (this is just a glorified pilot, sucker)" ending...luckily I also picked up the tv series...but I can't watch it...because I am still awaiting the arrival of the second mini-series which lies between the first and the bad tv series.... life sucks
