| _____________________________________ [Jan 12,2006 11:38am - Jonah nli ""] Directions: DRIVING FROM ANYWHERE: The easiest way to explain it: map the intersection of WINTHROP ST. and TESLA AVE in MEDFORD (right over the somerville border). http://maps.google.com/maps?q=tesla+ave+%2...0.003590,0.010274&t=h&iwloc=A&hl=en -There is a parking lot entrance near this intersection. Turn into the parking lot and go left around the back of the building in front of you. -50 yards further, you will go in between 2 dorm buildings and you will see the road split. Take the left fork into another parking area. -This parking lot is behind Miller Hall. Oxfam Cafe is about 1/2 way down the building on the right. Plenty of parking. WALKING / DRIVING FROM DAVIS SQ. -Head west through Davis on Holland ave (put the somerville theater on your left. Take Holland ave straight for about 3/4 mile until you get to TEELE square. At the light, bear right onto CURTIS st. Take curtis through one set of lights and up to the top of the hill. Follow directions from parking lot as listed above. QUICKER TRANSPORT. The Tufts Shuttle Bus picks up kids across from the Somerville Theater in Davis. There is a sign where it stops. It comes around every 20 minutes. You don't need an id to ride. It will drive you to Tufts. Get off "uphill" and ask for directions to MILLER HALL. Then go around back of Miller to OXFAM. |
