Does anyone know of cheap places to get CDs duplicated/replicated/pressed? I was going to check out The Local Mix, but it looks like their site is down.

Musicians friend does them through disk factory.

They are fast and relatively cheap.

Why?

(I'm dumb)

If they aren't being used for computer files, whats wrong with having an album on CD-r?

cd-r won't last as long as a real cd and isn't as durable.

I only use Wonderdrug for my CD manufacturing needs.
I suggest you all do the same.

Thanks, all. I would agree, I'd much rather have CDs pressed than replicated, but we're looking to do short run CDs at first, so they'll have to be replicated. I didn't know musician's friend did them, their prices look pretty reasonable. Anyone worked with them before? Are they easy to work with?
