Drums: I'd have to say the kid from STR/The Accursed is really strong, mOe, Evan from Last Chance because all-around he's phenomenal, Maggot from ATNFAC because he's a genius and quite fast, and my drum teacher, George Correia, because hes the smartest drummer in history. Mike Mangini is also god-like, saw him with Steve Vai in like 99'-00' and he was phenomenal. Wish I could have seen Annihilator. Guitars: Brian Williams wins this one hands down for me. Mark F'n Richards is probably the most creative musician I've met in a long time, and our buddy Niccolai can play just about every instrument. Must be the lack of caucasian in his system. Kurt Ballou, I agree with. AJ Harvey from Last Chance will make most look stupid. The Porphyria duo of Blue and Tom is also quite nasty. Bass: I saw some guy at JR Bean in Bristol, RI last month playing for some fusion band, and he was definitely the best bassist I'd ever seen or heard live. So yeah, him. Vocals: The tandem of Jake/Pires Dc to me is the best because they are the most creative I've ever heard two vocalists be with phrasing and using two very different voices so well in contrast. Nate Johnson is fun to play with because his range and volume destroys all else. He played with WOOS at the last show I played with DC and he's ten times louder than anyone else, naturally. Nate Mott from Bristol, RI has one of the best singing voices I've ever been around.
