After being seen by the emergency doctor, it has been concluded that Lance has a Mallory-Weiss tear. His doctors say this is a major complication due to his repeated antics on stage of vomiting on himself and fans. This comes just a month before the release of the band’s latest full-length album “Five Point Containment.” In a statement issued by James Mattern (Open Grave Records, Skitzo’s record label), “We are really upset to hear about Lance. He’s a great guy and a hell of a performer. We hope he gets well soon.” Due to the vomiting virtuoso’s recent malaise and Skitzo needing to add a few finishing touches on the album, the release date for “Five Point Containment” will be pushed back from May 15th to June 26th, 2007. |
