I have a Mac but my roomate has a PC and I find myself using that frequently because its a desktop and I like doing graphic projcts on the desktop better...plus she wants Photoshop for herself.
Anyway, can anyone hook a brother with a copy of the whole Creative Suite or just Photoshop CS3 or later that will install on her PC? Shes running Vista...

I can't supply Photoshop CS3 but I'm sure there's a torrent for it.
I can supply Photoshop 7 or 8, though. And Illustrator I believe.

download that + install.
go to torrentz.com or any other torrent site and search. you'll download the actualy torrent file itself, which is really small.. make sure you get the one with the most "seeds" - this means that it'll be a faster download.
when you load the torrent file, utorrent should load up and ask you where you want to save the files that will be downloaded. make sure you save them in a spot that has room to spare.
click ok and it'll start connecting to other people and download its chunks.
other than that, i can still burn you the older version if you want.

I got around to burning it last night. Unfortunately I only have the .zip for 7. I have 8 on my computer but can't locate the installation.
I also put a bunch of other random shit on it - Postal (the original PC game that was banned in numerous countries), Adobe Audition 1.5, Pictures of Christraper's 2005 halloween party, Acid Pro and some other random stuff. my backup harddrive is full of thousands of random things.

Make sure you follow the directions in the "comments" for the crack and you're good to go. If you fuck up somehow, just uninstall and do it again. You just saved 700 bucks.

So I downloaded the torrent that Pam linked me to and it seems to have worked but I dont know shit about installing stuff with Windows...
When I try to open what looks like the Photoshop app it says a component is missing and that reinstalling may fix the problem...
Anything I can do here? I REALLY appreciate any help.
Jim I may bring this laptop to the space and have you see what you can do with it...
