Todd Hollenshead keeps saying in lots of interviews that if you didn't hear it from Id, consider it to be false. That is the right time frame though, they confirmed a summer release. But this is probably the 15th or more "official" confirmed release date i've heard. |

| ____________________________________________________ [Aug 11,2004 4:41pm - menstrual_sweatpants_disco ""] I would recommend playing with the ducttape mod (allows you to have flashlight and machine gun out at the same time) when you replay the game. it's cool actually seeing the guy you're shooting react to the shots and see his blood splat all over the walls behind him. also... setting g_showplayershadow to 1 to make it so you cast shadows adds a ton to the game I think. I don't know why they shipped the game with that option off. Doesn't seem to impact framerates all that much. |
